BizSell.com is a brokerage firm focusing on matching people that want to sell their business with people that are looking to purchase a business. They also assist people wanting to purchase franchises or locate a broker to represent them. The company required a website in order to reach their clientele. They wanted to set up a commerce site that would allow them to match up their sellers with buyers. In addition, they required a database accessible to customers wanting to locate a broker. They also wanted the ability for customers to request information online.

The Solution

BizSell.com hired LM Interactive in May of 2005. LM Interactive met with BizSell.com and discussed effective way to meet their needs. LM Interactive studied the information BizSell.com provided regarding the proposed day-to-day business, which helped LM Interactive establish a plan of action. Through this process LM Interactive determined what type of package would best fit the needs of BizSell.com.

LM Interactive developers concluded that the E-commerce package would be tailor fit to meet their needs, and they would use Premium web hosting. The developers at LM Interactive decided to focus on the different aspects of the business, providing a separate page to handle each. They also addressed the issue of providing BizSell.com’s customers with a database of brokers. They developed a database, which would allow customers to search for a broker in their area. Maksun, Inc. specializes in pipeline development as an integrated gas resource effort servicing a medium sized client base. The company had recently expanded their business by merging with a smaller competitor. They determined it was time to meet their client’s needs and create more exposure for the company through an Internet site. In addition, they determined the need for more efficiency in dealing with their customer requests for information regarding products and operations. Maksun, Inc. would also like a site that would provide their clients and potential clients relative industry news information. The also wanted the ability for customers to request information online.

LM Interactive and Maksun, Inc. worked together to establish standards for their website that would fit their business requirements. LM Interactive detailed what the company wanted to achieve through a website, in addition to their initial challenges. Maksun, Inc. provided information regarding their day-to-day business that helped LM Interactive establish a plan of action.
